Machine Hall Roof Panel Repair and Replacement

In closing off this portion of our machine hall refurbishment project, I would like to thank yourself, Paul, Nigel and Ryan for the work you carried out in preparation and on site for two weeks last month (also Graham for the preparatory work).

Everyone on the station has been most impressed by the quality of the fibreglass panels uses and the excellent result achieved once these were installed in place of the corroded steel panels.  I have been particularly please as this work and the lab tests carried out has removed all doubts about the suitability of fibreglass as a replacement materials.

We were very pleased by the way you got stuck into what was hard physical work in a considerably less than comfortable location, two hundred metres underground.  Similarly you worked in well with in house staff and got favourable mention from the safety auditors that were on site at the time.

Should you consider further "industrial" work in the future.  I am sure you will have considerable success and I would not hesitate to recommend yourselves or the concept of using fibreglass in similar applications.
