Aeromarine Ltd Hydroslide - Century Pool

The Timaru Hydroslide Trust approached the Timaru District Council in 1998 and sought permission to build a single 83 metre hydroslide to be operated as part of our Century Pool Complex.  The trust had inspected existing slides in New Zealand and Australia and were very concerned at the joins and the ensuring bumps and bruises.  The trust resolved to instruct Aeromarine to construct the slide in order to minimize their concerns and the slide was opened to the public on 17 December 1998.

The slide is operated by the Timaru District Council and to date has proven to be a great attraction to the pool.  Various users have commented that it is the best slide they have used and the majority of users do not need mats as the slide is very smooth with impercepitble (to the rider) joins.

The slide looks to me to be in as good condition as on the day it was installed and we have an annual inspection service by Aeromarine to ensure it stays 100% up to standard.

I would invite any interested purchaser to inspect our slide and discuss it with any of our pool staff for a totally independent unbiased opinion.
